Das Ensemble von Stadthalle und Musikschule im Kulturpark Alzenau begrenzt die Flussauen der Kahl in südlicher Richtung. Es ist terrassenartig gestaffelt und verbindet dadurch die Ebenen von Fluss und den infrastrukturellen Einrichtungen. Die Musikschule ist den bestehenden Schulen gegenüberliegend gesetzt und schließt das städtebauliche Entrée westlich ab. Über die Stadtterrasse, mit der zur Landschaft gesetzten Stadthalle, öffnet sich der Blick auf das Kerngelände der Gartenschau. Stadthalle und hochwertiger Grünraum gehen eine sich bespiegelnde Symbiose ein. The ensemble of city hall and music school in the Kulturpark Alzenau confines the floodplains of the river Kahl in the south. It is differentiated by terraces and connects thereby the levels of the river and the infrastructural institutions. The music school is positioned face to face with the existing schools and closes the urban entree in the west. The view towards the heart of the horticultural show is enabled and accompanied by the city terrace and the city hall facing the landscape. City hall and high-value green spaces enter a reciprocal symbiosis. |
